Birthday Boy

After "heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head," he got to open his presents.
I don't know why he got any since he didn't really have a birthday!
He loves to practice on his ripstick.
It's a challenge with the snow.
Isn't he a handsome 11-year-old?
Look at that smile.
He wanted homemade turnovers for his birthday treat.
I don't think he'll ever make that mistake again. :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

End of Basketball

The last of the BB photos.
He's in yellow, bringing the ball down court.
Dad is coach.
His team was packed with great boys.
They were so cute!

He's great on defense. Guarding the ball-handler.

One of his teammates told us that all the girls in PE were impressed with our son's muscles.

I don't know if that's why he went to just the tank-top for the last game. :)

He's fighting for the rebound here. He can jump!

The tall kid in yellow is over 6 feet already--in 7th grade.
I can't remember who came down with the ball,
but I know our team got it.

Here he is on a fast break. I'm pretty sure he made the basket.

The cheering squad.
And I have to say that I was gone all morning and got home just
in time to go to the game,
which is why her hair looks the way it does.
More cheerleaders for Dad's team.
Grandma and Grandpa came to watch the last game of the season.
The kids love having them come.
After scoring on a fast break.
Putting up another shot.
Cheering the team on.
Everybody was good sports and encouraged each other.
Another great shot from another game.
The tied for first place this season.
The boys all improved enormously in their skills.
Dad did a great job coaching, but doesn't want to do it ever again. :)

Dancing Queen

Her dance class is completed and I'm just now posting some of her pics.
I'm told by the other mothers that she is very graceful.
She tries very hard to perform the dance moves exactly.
She is our new dancing queen.

More Christmas Photos

The kids have been bugging me to put up more Christmas day photos.
Here are few more.
Hope everyone had a happy holiday.
By Christmas day, we were all pretty much over
the nasty cold/flu that several of us had.

Notice that the girls each got a belle doll.

Basketball

Our oldest is in the middle of his basketball season
on a city-league team.
They're doing well. His dad is the coach.
As you can tell, I'm still trying to figure out my new camera. :)
But last year, ALL the photos were completely blurry,
so this is a step up for my photos.

We've got a Teenager

About a month ago, our oldest son had a birthday.
Now we have a CrAZy TEeNAgER in our house.Birthday morning with siblings.
For dinner, he requested nachos and lemon supreme pie.
I added orange cream floats.
He can ham it up with the best of them.

Happy Birthday!
