More Christmas Photos

The kids have been bugging me to put up more Christmas day photos.
Here are few more.
Hope everyone had a happy holiday.
By Christmas day, we were all pretty much over
the nasty cold/flu that several of us had.

Notice that the girls each got a belle doll.

Basketball

Our oldest is in the middle of his basketball season
on a city-league team.
They're doing well. His dad is the coach.
As you can tell, I'm still trying to figure out my new camera. :)
But last year, ALL the photos were completely blurry,
so this is a step up for my photos.

We've got a Teenager

About a month ago, our oldest son had a birthday.
Now we have a CrAZy TEeNAgER in our house.Birthday morning with siblings.
For dinner, he requested nachos and lemon supreme pie.
I added orange cream floats.
He can ham it up with the best of them.

Happy Birthday!

Dance Class.

Our 4-year-old started dance today.
She's been excited and counting down for two weeks.
She picked out some black tights and leotard.
I was told today that she is very graceful.
Of course, we already knew that.

Someone is THREE!

Our youngest is tHReE!
And I can't believe it.
She got some fun toys, like a PINK bIg WheEL. For her birthday treat, she wanted Rice Krispies.
The girls helped me make a GiNOrMoUS PiNK ThREe.
She got a dance skirt that she picked out herself,
as well as Ariel and Prince Eric.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LULU!

Christmas Morning

Slowly, but surely, I am getting these photos up.
This first one is from Christmas Eve.
My two helpers and I did a ton of baking...
french bread, orange rolls, brownies, rolls and kids treats. These next ones are a few from Christmas morning...
He's wanted a cot for years...but somehow always forget to put it on his list to Santa.
This year he remembered it, along with a BYU blanket. The princesses.
Our youngest would not let go of her stocking.
She would put it down only to open a present and then she'd grab it again.
We got three jerseys (2 BYU and 1 Colts--austin collie)
and two sets of "real" shoulder pads.
The girls received a lot of princess stuff.
It's a battle axe.
One of the girls got a tent...their "No-Boys-Allowed" fort.
It's actually quite cool, as it takes only one step to set it up--
very similar to snapping open up an umbrella.
A Jessie doll!
I got a new camera for Christmas.
So once I get its software on the computer,
I'll have more Christmas photos.

Santa's Visit

It was Monday night, in the middle of FHE,
when we heard a knock on our door.
Santa surprised us with a visit right before Christmas.
As you can tell from the photos,
we were all dressed up in costumes
because we were in the middle of activing out the Nativity. I was so glad she didn't cry.
She sang, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," all month long.
This boy gave Santa a different list
than the letter he sent to the North Pole.
And it was completely different
from what he told him at our ward Christmas party.
This one is shy.
She wouldn't look at Santa and her face turned pink!
I think this one was wondering
if was on the Naughty or Nice List.
Our oldest couldn't remember anything he wanted for Christmas.
I think he said snow boots,
which never made a list for Santa before then.
This one added new items to his list.
Luckily the elves knew about his changes beforehand.
So, my suggestion to Santa is this:
when you come for a visit on Christmas week,
don't ask what they want...
just ask if they've been naughty or nice. :)
WE LOVE YOU SANTA.
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT.
PS--Too bad I didn't get a photo of our dad in his Nativity costume...
it would have made you laugh out loud.
And I would have made you laugh too,
in my angel costume. :)
